  1. State of Decay

Very good game but I hated it at first. The first play through should be considered a test to try everything out and get a feel for what you need to do community wise as well as zombie wise to progress better. At times I felt overwhelmed by having all the missions going on as well as trying to get the group moral up so it got a bit tedious. As you progress your characters more and find better weapons though it get pretty enjoyable. I hate though that you can't ask one person from the group to go with you on missions. Seriously, who goes out into the dark woods alone in a zombie infestation? I also don't like that other house mates go off on their own to do who knows what and then they run in to a tight situation and you are expected to come help. I can be half way across the map doing something else and if they get in trouble and I don't go help they come back home and tell the rest of the group and moral goes down.

Is the coop portion a separate campaign then the single player campaign? I'm wondering if there is any meat to that portion of the game or if it is just kind of an afterthought.
  3. Battlefield 3 (All platforms)

Great xbow review. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=40WeGeoHXAY Finally unlocked the HE bolt last night. Now I need to practice shooting little birds with it.
  4. Battlefield 3 (All platforms)

Aftermath maps are by far the best maps in the game at this point in my opinion. For consoles they made them just the right the size to where you are constantly engaged in some sort of battle with the other team but not too small to where every corner and alleyway is being guarded by someone prone in a dark corner. I've also moved my xbox over to the PC monitor and really like the color difference and sharpness of the game on the monitor as compared to my plasma tv. One other thing I've been testing out is the xim edge which lets you use a keyboard and mouse on the console and map out the buttons how you see fit. I hated the thing at first but after about three days of constant tweaking of sensitivity settings it feels darn near perfect. I still need the controller for the vehicles but on the ground it is nice how precise my shots can be. I had to finish up the L96 mastery assignment and being able to snipe with the mouse was so much easier (I'm horrible at sniping).
  5. Battlefield 3 (All platforms)

Man the new maps look so good. A lot of urban fighting.
  6. Battlefield 3 (All platforms)

If I hit the powerball Led I'll build a PC to play with you and I'll be your revive wench.
  7. Battlefield 3 (All platforms)

Can you use the discount on getting premium? That way you can get all the expansions. I actually enjoy close quarters from time to time. It can get a little medic heavy at times but I am always able to find a decent server where medic chaining isn't a constant issue. If you don't have a lot of playing time though the shortcut pack might be good for you so you can get all the bells and whistles in your vehicles.
  8. Lincoln

LOL, I thought you might have been thinking about vampire hunter. I will say though, vampire hunter was surprisingly good for what it is. I didn't take it too seriously and found myself enjoying it.
  9. Lincoln

Insulting him how though? Most local historians in the Richmond area here seem to be pretty fond of the movie. A lot of the filming took place across the street from my office at Capital Square in downtown Richmond and it was pretty cool to walk to the bus and see the people wearing their set clothes and getting food from some of the street vendors and their own food carts that the production company had set up. I'm sure I'll watch it at some point to see how Spielberg interprets the life of Lincoln. First though, I have to watch "Lincoln, vampire hunter" this weekend which is saved on my amazon watchlist. That of course is just for pure entertainment.
  10. The Walking Dead TV Series

Felt like a season finale last night (I watch the day after).
  11. Prometheus

Yep, that about summed it up for me.
  12. Prometheus

Well thankfully I waited until it was Amazon instant movie and I had a $2 movie credit. So $1.99 to watch it I don't feel too bad. I still thought it was pretty interesting.
  13. Borderlands 2

Yep, I have actually seen that video. I just need to find him a good love thumper shield.
  14. Prometheus

Finally watched this movie over the weekend. I will say I've never seen any of the Alien movies since I was too young to watch them when they first came out and I just haven't taken the time to watch them now. I got the plot and story for the most part but I was confused about the engineer at the beginning who drinks some goo and then falls into river. Is this basically depicting how man was created? I guess as his cells break down it look like new cells were being created and I couldn't figure out if they were trying to say that is how life was started here on earth.
  15. Borderlands 2

Good to know. I've only opened my game up to randoms once just so I could get through some of the story missions with help on the second play-through and I didn't want to waste my time with the same side quests I had already done. I'll have to make sure I save a back up before I open up my game next time.
