  1. Great job Jon! I've just recently jumped back on the Ubisoft Rainbow Six Siege forums and have been quite the thorn in their side. I've been explaining the history behind the Tom Clancy brand and defining what a "authentic, tactical, realistic" fps shooter is. I'm personally waiting for a bit more progress on GB to do the same type of write up on the Siege forum. I'm going to go all out, I just need more material. I did one a year ago in regards to the ARMA 3 Alpha on the Patriots forum and many posters were blown away. Sadly the Patriots forum has been archived so it's gone now.
  2. Ground Branch Screenshots

Yeah, that's a really good one, great detail!
  3. Ground Branch Videos

I am in the same boat with Bullet Magnet. I am so appreciative of this game, so please do keep the videos & pictures coming. Thank you!
  4. Personally, I loved the R6 maps, so a new improved extended/larger version of any of those maps would be my preference.
  5. in game editor

You guys are AWESOME John & team! I can't wait for this game! I'm actually going take the time to learn & create "similar" maps from the R6 series as they were my most memorable maps to me. You guys are my last hope, in recreating my love for "authentic tactical realistic cqc fps/tps gameplay" and I'm onboard 100%. Thank you guys for your courage & vision and I will do my part help make this game a success!
  6. Any news on the technical demo?

Thank you for the reply, that's what I was talking about. After betting on the wrong horses twice, I sure hope the third time is a charm... hopefully I have a winning ticket (not speaking of commercial success but gameplay wise)!
  7. Any news on the technical demo?

Wow, it's nice to see things are actually moving along with this game! I haven't been on these forums for a few years. This game might actually be a reality... I just looked at some of the recent videos, and it's coming along quite well. Once the tech demo is released, is there anyway I can donate $$$ to help further things along. Unfortunately, I didn't get in on the Kickstarter contribution (I made the big mistakes of donating to Takedown & H-Hour). I'll never contribute to a Kickstarter again! Again, great jobs guys and I'm so looking forward to this game in the near future!
  8. A plan rarely survives first contact!

This is awesome news! I haven't been around these forums in a long time. I usually stop by once in a while. The funny thing is, I've been enjoying Insurgency so much, that it made me think of Ground Branch, and so here I am. Congrats to the dev team for moving forward like this, I'll be watching a lot closer now.
  9. Introducing BlackFoot's first title.........

Yes I have actually. I used the Crossover Office 6.2 deb package (which makes it very simple) and it works great with the exception of hidden buttons on the main menu screens. But to fix that issue you have to move your mouse over the missing buttons and they reappear... but in game there are no issues at all.
  10. CS or Lean?

What about an "over the should" view like Socom Confrontation with a lean incorporated?
  11. Introducing BlackFoot's first title.........

I feel very honored to be greeted by the top man himself... thanks for the warm welcome! A linux client would be amazing and I could spread the word on all the linux gaming sites & forums I'm a member of (too many to count). Side note: We in the linux community have been looking for new tactical shooter for quite some time... our last & only good game was a great mod named "True Combat:Elite" a brilliant mod created on the free "Enemy Territory" shooter game. As matter fact I do... There is a fellow on the Ubisoft R6 forums (named AntiPersonnel) that is brilliant, he created a couple of very detailed lean & peek systems that's just totally amazing, you might want to have a look at it & possibly use some of his ideas, he's a very bright individual that has a good head on his shoulders. I must warn you, it is a bit of a read, but well worth it. Thanks for the warm welcome! Wow... I'm curious to know, how you find others to play with? I'm looking at getting back into it again!
  12. Introducing BlackFoot's first title.........

Thanks for the warm welcome & quick response! That's awesome... I'll be looking forward to download it from the PSN Store then. I have been digging around the forum for more info since I registered and just found out that you guys will be using the UE3. Well it shouldn't be too difficult to port it over to PS3 and with the ability to have it as a full version download title (without the small size limits). It must save a ton of $$$ on publishing costs no CD/DVD copying! BTW... I'm a R6/R6RvS fanatic, I just bought the R6 collectors edition with all the games that Redstorm Ent. made and I'm enjoying them again! Just to note they work amazing on linux using wine!!! Don't mind me I'm just taking my own little trip down memory lane... I spent 3 years of my life playing these games endlessly!
  13. Introducing BlackFoot's first title.........

Forgive my ignorance but are these BF titles PC only? I had given up PC gaming because of the direction most developers were heading (Games for Windows pay service), so in the last several years I've narrowed my gaming to my PS3. If this is a PC only game looks like I'll have purchase a new PC and install M$ windoze again, I believe I still have a copy lying around somewhere... oh the shame of it all.
