  1. Indeed. It's the Pint-Sized Slasher!
  2. No, it does have horror elements, but it is not actually a horror game.
  3. Nope.
  4. Potentially too easy, but maybe not:
  5. GRID
  6. I tried to differentiate between Deus Ex and Deus Ex Machina by saying, "the first half." But it wasn't presented well, so... close enough!
  7. Alright, the first half of:
  8. The final line in that movie is my favorite one yet. Classic dark comedy.
  9. Could it be? Is that a pulse that I detect? http://www.moddb.com/games/rogue-reborn/news/rogue-reborn
  10. Storyline Spoilers Just when all is well and all seems right... a bear kills you. That's life in the wild west of RDR.
  11. It may be obvious, but it was still a good read. Thanks for the link. "E for Endangered," interesting. What would it take for the current tend to at least slow down and allow for quality games, both in content and production, to be output at a higher rate? Perhaps a breakthrough in technology, causing cheaper development prices? Well, I'm hopeful that, like most markets, this will just be another wave in the ocean of the history of gaming. There are still enough quality games to play until the next wave.
  12. Indie DB is a recently created sister site to ModDB. For those familiar with Mod DB, the name says all you need to know about Indie DB. However, a recent post has an FAQ for more details. So, anyway, I didn't find Blackfoot Studios on there and figured I would bring it to your attention in case it was missed. Considering the popularity of MDB, it would seem that having a group profile on IDB could increase awareness of BFS and Ground Branch. At least, I don't see how it could hurt... Any plans to get BFS on there soon or in the future? Or, just out of curiosity, is there a good reason to avoid it?
  13. While this game is very fun as is... The quote below describes what would make it go from just a great game to an excellent game, for me: Well said. I thought that the whole article was a good read.
  14. Hmmmm, I rarely use the dead eye and not really ever with the shotgun... Perhaps it is the specific weapon. Which shotgun are you using? The one I have been talking about is the semi-auto shotgun. The only way I know how to get it is for $1000 in Escalera.
  15. Interesting, I have had an opposite experience with shotguns. I usually drop people with one (two max) shots and sometimes at a pretty long range too. I actually do not use shotguns much because they seem too easy. I wonder why we have had such differing results? Yes, level 2 is terrible. Level 3 is doable, I'll take it over 2 any day. Level 1 is my favorite as well, it's like a super slow Max Payne. The sniper rifle uses level 1, even if you are on 3, but that's not very satisfying. There is a cheat that takes you back to level one. You won't be able to save while using it, but it's good for a mission replay or something. While I'm on game mechanics... Anyone have a solid method for steering your horse at top speed while aiming to shoot at the same time on expert aiming mode? This specific area of the game seems not well thought out. I usually resort to one of three methods: -Keep the thumbs on the sticks, use my pointer finger to maintain speed, and use my middle finger to shoot -Switch my thumb rapidly from the stick to 'A' (aim, burst of speed, continue aiming, etc.) -Use my left thumb to aim and my left palm to steer(very clumsy) Anyway, if you have a better method, let me know. Excellent game though.
