  1. The delicate issue of FOV zoom.

    But surely when, for example in ARMA II, the player's vision moves closer to the target by a few centimetres, that isn't the player character's bionic eyes digitally zooming in and enhancing what is in front of it. It's simply the player's head moving closer to the weapon's optic/sights, and is a feature that should be included.

    Surely FOV zoom is a good thing, because it is only in place to simulate a shooter raising a rifle and then shouldering it. i.e. getting a good cheek weld, putting the eye up to the optic etc.
