Late to this game. Will there be another kick starter?

Recommended Posts

Seriously, me as well. Hopefully it just needs more time to get around to more people to be successful. I received this email only because i was a member of Ghostrecon.net notifying me of this awesome project, I would of never heard of it otherwise. Unfortunately, I didn't check out the email when I got it because i was getting ready to leave for some field training with the Air Force, and did not have the time. Now that I am back from training, it is too late, and I regret not taking the time earlier to learn about this project and pledging some money through kickstarter to be a part of getting this game going.

Unofficially, most likely yes, though I have no idea when it might be. BFS is still planning on releasing Ground Branch just like before, just not certain what the next big public step is.

Excellent. Look forward to it.

I will support.

However, I would like to inform the developer I represent the console community and will be supporting the game so it may prosper onto PC with the hope - it will release for console sometime after.

Regarding consoles, I understand there are publisher requirements, fees and what not. The console companies are extremely stupid for creating this much red tape barrier. Still, I am confident, this game will make it onto the console scene.

I would like to make it clear... I have nothing against PC, you guys have the best selection of games.. I "personally" speaking for myself - do not like keyboard & mouse, can never get used to it, don't like it, that is what kills it for me. A controller, couch, and my 60' LED are my comforts for this medium.

I look forward to reading/seeing what the next public steps are regarding this game I am enthusiastic for.

Absolutely,

If they BFS provide controller support (Xbox 360 controller) I would play on a laptop, but not connected to my tv. (Reason why below).

I use to play rainbow six vegas from my laptop using my wireless Xbox 360 controller connected to my laptop via microsofts wireless control connector. Thing is, they (the developer) would have to support this (wireless NOT wired feature) in order for it to work.

Still, that said, I would prefer a console version to enjoy the game from my 60' Tv. My entertainment center is a complicated setup, something as simple as adding a hdmi, would be extremely laborious, time consuming - due to how I have it setup nice & neat going through my wall and what not. I would not even go that route, a console version is needed of course after its PC success.

Maybe it's time to hook a PC up to your TV, then. ;)

But the controller thing shouldn't be an issue. Windows natively supports a lot of controllers, and from my experience with UnrealEngine, it should automatically understand all of the controllers Windows does. The only issue might be interpreting some axes correctly.

In the latest press release they stated that they were in talks with a company to get the game published and that they might have more to show from Ground Branch soon. Do you have any news on this?

Hello there People !

I also missed the Kickstarter event and now i registered with this Forum to be able to communicate with you guys.

Its nice to read that there might be another Kickstarter event in the future.

I was too late to participate to the first one and was really disappointed to read that it didn´t reach its goal.

You can be sure that you will have my money with the next Kickstarter event !

I am a great Fan of the Rainbow Six Series ( until the game quality dropped with Takedown and Vegas ) and i am supporting you guys from BlackFootStudios to bring out an oldschool game

with new graphics and better A.I.

Greetings from Germany,

I am fairly new around here and by the time I figured out what was going on the kick starter was over. If there is another I will be supportive. at any rate this has me excited about PC gaming again....I think the great majority of us agree that there is not much out there and what Blackfoot studios represents is needed.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
