Outerra Sandbox Game Engine

After reading the main site and looking at all the videos this engine is on par with BIS engine maybe in some areas a little better.

I could not find any detailed character information or mention of it.

Looks ok though

it's lightyears ahead of bis's engine. but more literally a decade's difference. when it comes to sims or anything with intense calculations, proper multicore is important. both bis and dcs devs don't seem to understand this.

Very interesting to see those videos. One could only hope sometime in the near future we could get a complete Combined Arms simulator in a realistic procedural generated world with also realistic urban area's. I don't have any knowledge about engines and their limitations, but it's fantastic to look at these videos and imagine a finished (simulation) game + VR hardware droooool.gif

Same as I am not sure of its limitations, but space sims and the such where you have space battles then can quickly decend into a nearby world without loading screens seamlessly would be awesome, like they do in star wars movies :P
