Private Apollo 11 Artifacts From Neil Armstrong Now On Display

Recommended Posts

The family of Neil Armstrong has allowed the National Air & Space Museum to display some artifacts Neil brought back from the lunar module ascent stage. They are an eclectic collection of parts from the module including the waste management system cover, a piece of net, waist tether, a tool, and some electrical cables. They can be seen on the Lunar Surface Flown Apollo 11 Artifacts From the Neil Armstrong Estate on loan to the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum, Washington D.C. page. It looks like the man who made history wanted some things he used as mementos of that experience.
