With this one around the corner I just once again installed D2 with the expansion pack, unfortunately all my old savefiles was lost in a harddrive crash some months ago so I'll be forced to start all over again

Just go with a hammerdin (hammer, aura and synergies), skeleton necro (skeletons, mastery and corpse explosion in that order, with 1 in every other useful summoning skill and curse), or meteorb sorc (max frozen orb with 1 in cold mastery, rest in meteor+mastery+synergies). All can probably work naked.

I made the mistake paying with paypal instead of directly with credit card, but eventually got through their weird anti-fraud verification (which required an identification document with my name and address, which I have none of since all of them list my address in Hebrew only).

Of course I also got 2 copies for my brother and his friend from amazon.co.uk mailed to my uncle who lives in the UK, as they are in the army and won't be home before the weekend anyway so they don't need their copies ASAP.

Who wants to bet problems with the authentication server tomorrow will delay most of us playing a day or tow... but I hope I'm wrong.

BTW, getting Diablo 3... check out this tutorial video... well done...

It's not really an "authentication server". It actually runs much of the game for you. It'll definitely have problems, but hopefully not enough to stop us from playing, as Blizzard do have vast experience with such massive releases.

There are so many "tips" videos for D3 already, most don't take way too long to get their point across compared to what they would need if they just wrote it in text. Seems like too many people are trying to get more viewers at the expense of D3's popularity and the fact people can't actually play yet. If they just wanted to get their point across, they'd make something more short and to the point IMO...
