Have a look at the law-suit in the EU by 14 Irrational devs to reclaim the SWAT franchise (2K Czech ran the contract and screwed it up). It's pretty interesting stuff. They've been forestalled for almost seven years now and it looks as if it actually might go to litigation/trial.

I do have to say though: the inflexibility of the GR command map really shows when there are multiple levels, as well as in crammed indoor environments.

While in Rainbow Six I can't change my plans on the fly.

Does the original GR have a coop mode similar to R6? Surprisingly I never touched GR before--was into the R6 franchise at the time.

I see it on Steam for 9.99. Is this the version you guys are playing together?

Ghost Recon's Coop had several different settings, Recon, where there could be no losses on your side and if I remember right, being seen. Firefight which is basically Terrorist Hunt and most of all, you could do the SP campaign. I completed the SP campaign via Coop before I even finished it in SP. Grab GR, you will not be disappointed.

I seem to recall John going to work for them. I can't recall him working on the map though, but if so, it's another reason why it is a good map.

There's some talk about the 'tactical pace' in Arma 3 community which reminded me: did anybody ever 'shuffle' in this game? Was it practical in single-player and/or multiplayer? Does GB have it, and if it doesn't, should it follow suit, reinvent it, or ignore it?
