Good idea. It's always nice to see what people fiddle with in their spare time. This goes for the rest of you guys as well. :)

Its actually "painted" in 3d studio max, then printed on a special sheet, then I had it framed.

Nice painting.
Love the style your using here it fits very well with the minimalistic approach you have to their surroundings. The depth of colour is just enough to let the colur leap fortgh with becoming garish & disturbing, yet at the same time its also subtly balanced in hue to sit nicely as a strong contrast against the wall.
My fav is probably the last one, but is possibly as I find its result more tribal. Yet I then find myself going back to the first one, possibly due to size or the 3 pane breakout.

Have you been successful in selling any pieces?
Im working on putting some of my offline artwork into a book at the moment.
Keep up the good work & thx for sharing :)

@ Nemesis, thanks for the "review". Im not used to that, so its very cool for me to have someone else putting words on it. : ) Have you had some art classes or something like that? you seem very aware of art.

@John, I have been asked to paint pictures several times now, but I keep rejecting it. For me its a hobby, something I do with passion for my self, and I somehow loose that when trying to concentrate on making paintings for others. It just feels alot more fabricated , if that makes any sense.

anyway, im glad you guys like the pics. Krise should come over for a beer one day and see the rest of my work. : )

Your welcome. Yes I have been into art ever since the age of about 7yrs old when I could first draw Asterix out of a comic...like for like. (You`d have thought I'd be good at art by now though...lol. Im never happy with anything ive done lately). As a teenager my schooling was art & technical design driven, then I went to Art college for 3 years achieved my A level in Contempary Art & Grpahic Design as well as a 2 year course in Photography before moving on into a 1 year Degree studies in Combined Arts
So criticism & art exploration is something Ive grown up with. Im use to putting pics up & having them ripped to shreads by other students as well as lecturers BUT its all constructive criticism. <_<
Im like yourself I now only do art as a hobby. The market is too competitive & when I finished college only to find the mediums we were using all changed to CAD & the MAC in the realworld. I rarely do any feehand work now but I must return to it as the imagination works faster than programming art in 3D packages.
At the age of 12, I was commissioned to do a 40 foot mural for a disabled kids playground. They paid for the materials & I got paid ?300 for 2 weeks work in the summer holidays. I've done some signwriting also in my town when I was 18 for clubs etc. At the age of 22 I had sold my first 3 personally designed pieces (A2) for the princely sum of ?250...not a lot.
So selling pieces is not necessarily about creating for money its about what you are prepared to part with & at what price :) This is why I am now creating a book of my artwork as a photobook..so I can sell the books & keep the artwork....its also a nice & handy portfolio :)

I like your work...keep creating & post up with new ones
