I'm not impressed with the trailer.

They didnt show any women in tight clothing.

Other than that, well its star trek, geeky awesomeness at its best.

I didn't really think the trailer was that great. I saw it when I went to see cloverfield, and I didn't know it was star trek until the music. I'm still going to go see it though. If only to complain about how they runied the franchise if it isn't good.

By the way, there's a fantastic wiki for Star Trek fans. Memory Alpha. And they even have a Firefox search plugin. Not that I would install it and use it several times a week... whistle.gif

Keep in mind, we've seen this sort of thing before when a movie is first announced.

It's too early in production, they don't really have anything they can show yet, but they want to start the buzz going.

So they come up with something to make that happen. I think it's understandable, and certainly can't criticise them for not showing us something they can't.

However, on the other hand, my creative side is thinking "They could have done something better".

It isn't that they didn't show us much, it's just that it didn't give me that Star Trek feel. I really hope they stick to star trek and not try to be some generic sci-fi movie with Star trek attached.

Whatever it will be, it will be better then the last movie, watching that one was just as much fun then getting gangraped by a group of male Klingons.

its hard to judge anything based on that trailer, but the good news is that it couldnt possibly be worse than the last one

I think for a ship to be used in space, they shouldn't trust people to do the welding, just one leak can spell disaster, lol.

Ok, I'm kidding. I know it's just a teaser trailer, lol.
