Nice one.

By the way, there's a new upcoming Razer mouse. Ambidextrous it is also.

I like the shape, but not sure about hat 4G laser sensor. I am more drawn to my Deathadder's and currently in use Diamondback's 3G sensor, which is just great.

Just bought a Steelseries 6v2 mechanical keyboard.  This will be my first mechanical keyboard, after a lifetime of logitech and keytronic branded ones. Will be exciting.  To keep it company I also got a steelseries 'Sensei ' mouse to replace my aging Logitech G9.  Currently I use a Q-pad hard surface mouse pad of some sort. Looking for a replacement for that as well.  I've been very happy with Logitech products in the past, but after purchasing a steelseries headset on a whim, and being very satisfied with the GAMING performance, I decided to go all-out-steelseries.

Will report back once I've got them set up and written/gamed a bit.

I use steelseries qck mini (get bigger if you must, but I use 3500 DPI on my deathadder so mini is more than enough) mouse pad. Quite cheap, yet way better than the super-cheap ones. Not sure what kind of advantages the more expensive mouse pads bring, but there's a noticeable improvement over the mouse pad I had before. Not to mention I cringe when I see people not using a mouse pad at all...

Running a Deathadder myself.
Love it over the standard mouse I did have, but I don't see it dying anytime soon.
Perhaps I can justify a new one when/if I update the whole machine :)
"Yes honey, I do need this $80 mouse, honest!"

Meh, rocking an old Logitech MX5000 keyboard and mouse combo that 6 or so years later continues to serve me well. Integral battery in the moue is starting to get alittle wonky nowadays but it still holds a charge decently well. Only "luxury" I've invested in is a decent Razer exactmat mousepad, but that was more our of nessesity as my desk was to small to fit the mouse on and a metal mat allowed me to have it sticking out outside of the desk.
