It just came out today on the PC.  $30 on Steam (or $20 at GreenManGaming, or $23 for the Collectors Edition from GreenManGaming, but you have to use a promo code HALFT-ERMHO-RRORS

and I'm not sure how long it's valid for).  I have it on my 360 and loved it.  Definitely worth rebuying on the PC, and it really does look quite a bit better than the 360 version.  That and it's, so far, a "proper" port (more graphics options than most games and an FOV slider with customizable controls and a HUD that can be turned off without disturbing gameplay elements).  About the only real complaint I have is that you can't turn AA off (has to be at 2x or higher because of the way the engine was designed, or so the devs say).  Either way it's still an awesome game and well worth it if you're into SP games.

And as usual, their opinions are as valid as their grammar.

I'm geting this one, but there are too many tempting titles around the corner, so I'll probably wait for sale.

Have You Guys heard about this one? Dear Esther

Finally, TV screens done right (in my opinion): use real-world footage!

I can max out game at 1680x1050 resolution and while it looks really good (No ###### its linear as hell),the core gameplay killed it for me,moving camera and controling main character feels like you're controlling pinokio..Plus shooting is really nothing special...

Does anyone remember tech demo from 2005,when they showed open world game, where you could drive jeep and find cluse all around island, the demo ended with big tornado. At the time Alan Wake was pc exclusive game..
"Only a madman knows no fear. A warrior knows what fear is, he feels it in his stomach, he understands fear better than any other mortal can. What makes us strong is that we have conquered fear, overcome it not once but many times, over and over again, until the process has become instinctive. but no matter how many battles you fight and how many victories you win, your fear will never completely leave you. Learn to live with that fear. Learn to master your fear. "
