I was recently a victim of identity theft and canceled my card associated with my Steam account. Today, when I logged on, I discovered this nifty little message.

I am irked to no end right now. :wall:

Did you give them a call to explain the situation? Since their over the phone support is generally quite good from my own personal experience.

I sat for 20 minutes before giving up. I've also submitted a support ticket.

Steam, while nice in many ways, can use some quicker customer support. At least in my experience.

Yeah as I understood from friends who had problems, they can take a while... But they should get to it eventually.
